Ultrasonic Cleaning Transducer
Piezoelectric transducer uses the piezoelectric effect to realize transduction between electric and sound energy. It comprises a radiation head,electrode, cap, prestressed bolt, piezoelectric chip and an insulating tube. The piezoelectric transducer is widely used in ultrasonic cleaning machine and high-power industry cleaning devices.
Features
◊ High efficiency: high mechanical parameter Q, the transduction efficient between electricity and sound above 95%.
◊ High amplitude: the transducer strength is improved by fixing the high speed vibrator directly on the base of washing groove
with bolt. Compare with a magnetic expansion vibrator, its amplitude can be improved above 50%.
◊ Good heat resistance: a large range of working temperature, low resonance impedance and heat productivity.
Naming methods as following


Product categories
A. Piezoelectric chips: P4 series with black chip and P8 series with yellow chip;
B. Frequency classification: low frequency series (17~23KHz), intermediate frequency series (25~28KHz), medium and high frequency series (33~60KHz) and high frequency series (68-200 KHZ).
C. Power classification: 30W series (including 35W), 50W series (including 60W), 100W series (including 80W) and other unconventional power;
D. Shape classification: straight column and trumpet;
Frequency selection
The frequency of the transducer is inversely proportional to the wavelength, the wavelength is related to the size of the cavitation diameter (strictly speaking, it is caused by the long nucleation time of the low frequency), and the cavitation diameter is related to the explosion pressure. The higher the general frequency, the smaller the wavelength, the smaller the cavitation diameter, the lower the explosion pressure, but the higher the cavitation density, the better the permeability.
Based on the above principles:
Low frequency (17~23KHz) : low-frequency transducer should be selected when the dirt of the object to be cleaned is heavy or difficult to be cleaned, and the explosion impact does little damage to the surface of the object to be cleaned. Commonly used industries are: magnetic industry, automobile insurance industry, textile industry, etc. Note, this series of noise is large, it is best to do sound insulation treatment.
Medium frequency (25~28KHz) : if the dirt of the cleaned object is slightly heavier or the cleaning difficulty is moderate, and the explosion impact does little damage to the surface of the cleaned object, the medium frequency transducer should be selected. This series of industries are the most widely used, common are: mechanical processing industry, electroplating industry, catering industry, etc.
Medium and high frequency (33~60KHz) : medium and high frequency series transducers should be selected when the dirt of the cleaned object is light and easy to clean, or when the explosion impact has requirements on the surface damage of the cleaned object. Commonly used industries are: precision parts, glass glasses, electronic components, circuit boards, etc.
High frequency (68-200khz) : the dirt of the object to be cleaned is very light and easy to be cleaned. If explosion shock should not cause any damage to the surface of the object to be cleaned, high-frequency series transducer should be selected. Common industries are: semiconductors, special high precision parts, etc.
